SPRING BACK (one): OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS

Wednesday 14th April - Wednesday 5th May 2021.

We are so excited...finally...after all these months...to offer an open exhibition and call for art....Two Open Art Exhibitions during this Spring - April and May 2021. Yes, believe us, we totally understand...and we've watched so many people walk past the gallery, unable to come in. We are soooooooo grateful...finally...we can again make an art exhibition happen in St Albans...and we need you...you amazing artists... I mean what is an art exhibition...without artists? Artists and visitors...we crave you both... It's the only reason we ever existed..! The beauty of a love discovery between a complete stranger and a never-would-be-discovered-piece-of-art-unless-they-walked-into-nudetincan, it's an event to cherish.,..we miss it...incredibly. Lets Go!!!

SUBMISSIONS:

Open to all mediums and subjects!!! Art must be originally created by artist and presented to a professional standard/framed when appropriate.

SPRING BACK (one): Wednesday 14th April - Wednesday 5th May 2021. OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS. Drop off will be Monday 12 April. Submissions will close Sunday 4 April or before if space is full. Collection will Be Wednesday 5th May.

SPRINGS BOUNCE (two): Friday 7th May PM - Saturday 29th May 2021.

NOT OPEN YET Please do not submit.  (please note the start date 7th May could be late evening PM or day time. will confirm once the submissions are live.)

No Commision as we will not be dealing with your sales transactions.

Exhibition cost is £55 per artist per exhibition. Depending on the size or work or number of works for exhibition - space is relative. ie, one artist may have 1 large painting, another artist may have 4 small artworks. It's never about space, it's all about the art regardless of your dimensions.

You can have business cards BUT it may be simpler to place your website/tel number descreetly at the bottom of your label (that way customers can take a pic or call you there and then)

If you want us to take a sales transaction for you. It will be 25% Commission, Please agree this before hand.

Include your: Instagram and your website in your submissions, please include a telephone number so we can contact you easily. We'll only use that number to discuss the exhibition and to confirm arrangements.

You will make your own lables at 12pts. on Thick white card in this format (as above) (no bigger than a business card).

Please rename your files to match your 'name and titles' - ie 'Julliette Pole - My Heart Melted' so we can locate them easy if we need to upload it for promo etc. 

Web ready images. If you have a high quality image and can 'Save for Web' (photoshop) it means we can view and use that image for online purposes and it still looks crisp without being a large file. Most software has that option. (It turns a high quality print file into a small viewable web file - less pixels and less file size but still looks clear on web - not blurry or pixellated).

CRITERIA:

We'll view accept (or decline). The exhibition cost will be sent via Pay Pal to the email you used. (you dont need a paypal account - you can use a debit/credit card). If you are accepted. 

We are only taking submissions for the first exhibition 'Spring Back' 14th April - 5th May'. Though you can take part in both with different artwork. Srings Bounce

OPEN TO LOCAL AND UK ARTISTS.

EXHIBITING ARTIST TO INVIGULATE FOR A FULL DAY/HALF DAY. 

Artist will be solely responsible for insuring their own artwork against all risks and liabilities for the duration of the exhibition. Collecting and delivering is the responsibility of the artist. Unfortunately we can not accept postal artworks. You need to be able to collect your work.
